The Toho Hand Taps (HT)-HSS is forged from high speed steel that hardened and double tempered finish reduces breakage. Ideal for hand threading in routine maintenance, repair work and for rethreading applications. Standard style hand taps have straight flutes. Plug chamfer is best suited for through holes or where there is sufficient room at the bottom in blind holes. Bottom chamfer is designed to tap to the bottom of the hole.
