The Toho Machine Taps is forged from high speed steel-cobalt that hardened and double tempered finish reduces breakage. Spiral cutting flutes allow fast thread cutting using a cordless drill or cutting head. Provide high cutting capacity, long tool life, high accuracy, narrow dimensional tolerances, and good surface finish. Suit for machine use to cuts a thread on the inside surface of a hole, creating a female surface which functions like a nut.
